(this is look as if you were changing a diaper- feet up in the air- little bum exposed)we had an ultrasound on monday afternoon before we had the family over to help us oack the moving van AND.... IT'S A GIRL!! pink, pink, pink for us!!!! this came as a HUGE SHOCK to me- as everyone around me can tell you! i had dream after dream of our little boy and i just knew it was a boy, i had that feeling. well apparently my 'mother's intuition' will need some fine tuning and well, hasn't really kicked in because i obviously couldn't be more wrong. in fact, about two weeks ago i had the thought cross my mind 'they could actually tell me this is a girl, hmmm'. and that was like a newsflash to me?!? the ultrasound lady was VERY certain it is a girl, apparently she had no problem showing us time and time and time again :)! the WHOLE drive out to cleveland i kept looking at nate and saying "we're having a girl"-five minutes later- "it's really a girl" -few miles later "can you believe we're having a girl?" i think the more i say it the more it sets in. i is slowing starting to fell natural to call it 'her' now instead if 'it' or 'baby' or even 'him'. i had actually started referring to the baby as 'him'- oops! i've changed my tune :)!!!!!
we are SOOOO excited to welcome this girl as the first addition to our family. i am SO excited for bows and bracelets and all that fluff that comes with little girls!!! we pretty much have decided on a name (like 90%) but will disclose that at a later date when it is a little more certain. so i am 16 1/2 weeks and we counting down for our little girl.

Andi needs a GIRL cousin and we are so excited for you and Nate. You'll LOVE the pink, bows, dolls, ribbon, lace, etc. It is so fun...I am missing you terribly, which is why I haven't called- only text. Kailey told me you're having a rough time finding a house you like; I'm so sorry! I wish I could come "house shop" with you! I think I'll be able to come visit in October, so lets plan it. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE little girls! Theyre so fun and I think when you're decorating a bedroom, its SO much more fun, there are so many more cute options! We're so excited for you! But how sad is it that we wont get to personally see you get big and pregnant! :( boo hoo!
YAYYYY!!! I was thinking you were having a boy too! Weird. OK well, maybe Im dead wrong about mine. Me and Chris have each had a dream that its's girl and I keep calling it a girl, crap Im prob totally wrong! I'll gladly take whatever Im supposed to have though! So you found out at 16 weeks? HOW, WHERE? Ive bought a plane ticket to go visit in Utah for a week then end of October and Im having baby showers while Im there. Well...my doctor just told me she will do the gender ultrasound after I get back from Utah! Well that just isnt going to work out for me :) I will be 17 weeks the week we get back from China and that's a whole month from when I go to Utah. I was thinking of just going to Fetal Foto to find out then so I everyone will know for the showers, only makes sense. So let me know if that's what you did. I wish you were still in Utah so we could go to lunch or something! Will you go home for Christmas? Ok, hang in there girl! Im here if you need me to talk with, I left you my number on your facebook. I got your blog from your sister's so I hope you don't mind that I look at it every so often:)
Congrats on having a girl. We love them at our house, but so far that is all we can make! I hope you are doing well, and as for Ohio it will be such an adventure after you get a place and start making friends. We are looking at alot of jobs out of state so I will probably be eating more words later. So keep your head up and remember that sweet angel that will be joining your family soon enough.
