Emersyn and i have been in Utah for a week now.... and we are loving it! lots and lots of cousin time. Trent & Lindsie are living at my parent's house and emersyn is constantly calling for the "BOOOYS" at the top of her lungs. they've had movie nights and breakfast Christmas parties {with captain crunch christmas cereal} and not too much fighting. we've gone swimming at the rec center~ which was tons of fun! it is so great to be with them tons. kailey and mccoy have come down almost everyday... it is crazy that these two babies are not so much babies anymore~ especially with 2 new cousins this coming year. every bath emersyn has had here has been loaded with cousins! saturday was bridger's baptism and brock was ordained as a deacon- they were both sweet enough to wait for us to get here to have those things done.
Andrea picked us up at the airport with my dad and we've been with her pretty much ever since- i LOVE that she isn't working right now!!!! so selfish of me. i know.
sunday was dinner at my parent's followed by AFV. all the grandkids LOVE the "funny show" as they call it. kate came out for the evening and stayed late chatting with us.

and OF COURSE we've spent TONS of time with grandma and grandpa. they have been great enough to get ej up in the mornings and let me sleep in!!! the other day my dad got more than he was bargaining for. he let me sleep and went to get emersyn. she had a loaded present for him!!! he swears her diaper was a "ten pounder". emersyn COMPLETELY recognized my mom and dad as soon as she saw them. sometimes it takes her a few minutes to warm up to them. as my dad pulled up in his truck to pick us up from the airport, the minute she saw him she shrilled and screamed and laughed and ran to him! it was pretty great!!! same thing when we saw my mom. she was working when we landed so as we swung by her work and she came out and saw us. ej ran to her and squeezed her. it was so fantastic. she loves giving them hug all day and taking chocolate to them to open for her :) she is always running around with at least one cousin and she is in HEAVEN! she also had a GREAT reunion with Diesel- the minute she saw him she was laughing and giggling and so excited she couldn't contain herself. they can frequently be found sitting together snuggling.
