bed head much?

I have been a totaly slacked blogging. i have been just too lazy for many things!! PLUS i still have picture from florida to add. but, today i wanted to talk about BED HEAD! this little girl wakes up in the morning with THE craziest hair! i LOVE those curls but they make for a serious rats nest :) luckily they brush out rather quickly.

THEN we have to brush it out prior to the bath or else trying to detangle... NIGHTMARE. so when we get it brushed out we come up with this:

Hospital stay for Nate~

i learned the first week of April just how hard it is to have my better half in the hospital. saturday April 2 nate started having some INTENSE pain on the right side of his abdomen. come to find out he had appendicitis. he was seen by 3 surgeons who all recommended it be taken out. he was scheduled for surgery but his wasn't an EMERGENCY case, and they had an emergency come that needed the OR, so they postponed his until the morning. the following morning we got a NEW surgeon who decided NOT to remove it and to treat it with antibiotics. it was such a confusing time because the Dr didn't communicate ANYTHING to us and we were playing the waiting game from hour -by-hour until wednesday evening when he was released. what an exhausting time for BOTH of us! we had such great help with ej to where i was able to be at the hospital with him almost all day, everyday. it was so hard to try and jump between being there for him and being needed at home with my little girl! ej had a hard time not having him home and when she got to go see him at the hospital, she FREAKED OUT when we had to leave him there. neither nate or i want to do that again anytime soon.

luckily everything turned out alright!
