labor day hike

today we headed up to Grotto Trial in Payson canyon. it was a super fun {easy} hike and emersyn had a blast. she was jumping all over the place and climbing like a mad woman. once we got to the waterfall she just couldn't resist the water..... if there is water she MUST be in it. it was freezing cold water but it didn't even phase her. we saw a few friends on the way back to the car.....

it was a super fun day. we really haven't done very much this summer with the yard and we feel are kind of sad to see the summer leaving us but hopefully we can sneak away for a few more hikes. emersyn thoroughly enjoyed it so we know she is game for a few more this year.
