AAAAAND then after a week at grammy's house we had a mini-lloyd reunion at our house. Joel had to be in North Dakota for work and Mollie and Abbee stayed in Menan BUT everybody else met up for a weekend at out house. Without the basement finished we were a little tight on room but we busted out the tents and had a BLAST. We had planned on cmaping but those darn afternoon rain/thundershowers prevented us from doing that. BUT it didn't rain overnight and that made it possible for the backyard-tents to happen :)
the first night these 3 slept in one tent, alix slept inside in ej's bed, kate slept in her tent, and grammy and layla slept under the stars.
Saturday we went up the Nebo Loop to do a couple hikes. We did The Grotto and The Devil's Kitchen (which was like a 2 minute hike). We stopped for lunch at a scenic outlook of Utah County. It was a pretty fun day and just nice to be outside. The day before we had been inside most of the day due to the rain so everybody had LOTS of energy to use up. We hiked, ate dinner at 5 star bbq, then headed up to Bridal Veil to end the day. We pretty much did a tour of utah county. We actually crossed into Juab county (to the south) and almost made it to Wasatch County to the east. We made a lot tracks and i think the kids made LOTS of memories!
