This last weekend the entire Johnson family (minus carter) headed to San Diego for a trip to the beach. we had a BLAST! we spent most our time playing in the sand, sun, and ocean. we even saw some dolphins playing in the waves about 35 yards from us. we left friday - which was trent's birthday so we celebrated by eating dinner at IN-N-OUT. OHH, how we love in-n-out! ej traveled very well and did very well considering most her naps were on the road and interrupted. she absolutely LOVED the water and cried when we took her out of the pool. we put her feet in the ocean- which was a little cold- and she just giggled. she loved digging her toes in the sand also. we had such a good time and loved having everyone around us! EJ's cousins love her so much and love to make her giggle and smile. it definitely was MUCH more work to take a baby on vacation with us but it was worth it! i can't wait to take her back to the beach to play in the waves when she is older. things got a little chaotic with so many people but we had a blast and are glad EvErYOnE was there. hopefully next time carter won't have to stay home and save everyone at Cow-a-bunga Bay and can go with us :)!

THAT is what we need for Cale for Mexico in a couple of months, I think he would love that! I just got your FB email...need to write ya back.
