ej & lucy... along with an update

these two are so cute together. we had lucy over for a little while this week. they play so well together! they looked so cute with their snacks watching a show, i had to snap a couple pics.

we got a zoo pass yesterday and very excited to use it lots and lots this summer. hopefully we'll be outside just about everyday. ej loves being outside. we planted grass seed in the backyard as well as a small garden- our fingers are crossed very hard that everything grows, or something grows. we also put in a fire pit! we are really excited to have a place to hang out in the evenings this summer. now we just need to find a BBQ'er. Nate is going nuts without one. that boy could eat BBQ every night!!! he started his internship with RTA's(cleveland's public transit) General Counsel. this is an area he is very interested in so we feel very lucky that he landed the position there. he even gets a paycheck this year :)no more workin' for free!! we are very proud of him and thankful for everything he does for us. i got a job working tuesdays june-august at a pediatric office. i am excited for it. we are so excited for summer and to experience a cleveland summer. i got a new calling- nursery coordinator. we have three nurseries in our ward. i am a little scared but excited to interact with all the kiddos. the best part- EJ gets to go into nursery early. we have been skipping out after sacrament because she is such a handful during the other hours of church. so no more for us! i also do the singing time in each of the three nurseries..... i AM NOT a good singer so it's a good thing they don't know any better. hopefully the teacher won't laugh too hard at my off-key singing. sometimes when i am singing to ej in her room i can't help laughing at myself at the 'tune' i carry :) oh well. maybe this is an answer to ej's prayers to help me to learn to sing better :) that's about the whole update on us.
