sweet sixteen

ej is officially 16 months!

*says please for just about anything she wants! and she thinks if she says please she gets WHATEVER it is she is asking for!

*running everywhere and every which way!

* obsessed with cell phones! talks on 'hers' constantly.

*enjoys listening to my MP3 player

*our budding artist! she has a new found love for drawing. she will sit down and draw with a pen or crayons or whatever for hours. can we say LEFTY !?! taking after her dad in this.

*feels pretty proud of herself when she crawls up the stairs. haven't quite figured out going down them.

*33 1/2 inches tall (that's the 97% for 18months!!!).

*25 1/2 lbs

*loves fruit leathers, green beans (STILL), and cheese.

* new trick~ drinking out of juice boxes. her new fav treat.

*this girl honestly loves to laugh. she will just start cracking up for no reason. i usually join her and we will have little laughing spits a few times a day!

* still obsessed with shoes. always asking "pease,shoes". and if you are caught without shoes, she'll try and put some on your feet.

* loves to cuddle. she'll come to me a few times during the day just to give me hugs and loves for a bit. she'll pat my back as she hugs me.... melts my heart!

*l-o-v-e-s to wrestle.

* getting harder to take her picture because the minute she sees the camera she wants to 'look' at the picture on the screen.

*thoroughly enjoys being outside, has a new found affinity to rocks..... we've been finding them in our house. anytime we come in from outside, she has a few in her hands.

* loves to smell flowers. she'll bring them up to her nose and take a deep breath and exhale while saying "MMMMMMM" :) hilarious! sometimes even the weeds smell THAT GOOD too.....

* she went to nursery for the first time last sunday (05/23/10) and did amazing. i peeked in at one point while she was sitting at the mini-table, in her mini-chair .....with her friends, eating snacks and I DID.... i got teary eyed. she looked SO big and SO cute mingling with her friends. Nate asked me before church if i was going to cry when she went in to nursery- "NO WAY, i am so excited to have her occupied during church"~ but i did!!! when i went to pick her up she was helping her teacher put blocks away in a bag with her friend lucy. they looked so big!

she is such a great best friend. i cannot express how much i love spending everyday with her. she is so funny. she makes us so content. i am still amazed how fast she can destroy a room but we slowly try to get everything picked up a few times a day. we are enjoying days at the park. she is loving the swing and looking for animals. she is such a big girl!
