By the end of week 10 we had cabinet doors! the cabinets were 100% finished. i am TOTALLY happy with how they turned out. also that week we went to Arizona for Layla's baptism and a family vacay. it was AWESOME! on our way home we stopped by the house. we had driven through the night so we got to springville at 7:30 am. we walked in and the kitchen was pretty much DONE! appliances, countertops, lighting, EVERYTHING was in! it was really surprising. i had been sleeping and walking in i felt like it was still a dream! it is so surreal! the next day they did the carpet! man, i love it there!!!!
kitchen~ i just need to replace the lighting!!! we didn't upgrade the lighting with our builders because we pretty much knew what we wanted. the pendant lights look UH-MAZING in there (i made nate hold them up for me)... we just need to close so we change them out ;) our dining light is giving us some grief! a part of it broke and i JUST don't know if it is going to make it! it is metal so it needs to be welded but it is really thin and i just can't think of a way to make it work! but we will continue to try!
also, DRAMA with the appliances BUT that is NOT our fridge in there.... we are still trying to get that worked out.

i have spent a good part of the last week PACKING!!! my poor kids are being somewhat neglected (good thing grandma johnson is home to love them)while i try to organize everything! atleast we have a sweet fort! the basement is pretty much consumed by boxes at this point!
