swinging...

we went to the splash pad with the johnsons & weights.... but it was closed! so we made a detour to the park. i put rowen in the swing and he loved it! sad that he is 10 1/2 months and this was the first time he had been in a swing. he'd look over at Brooks in the swing next to him and when he realized that they were doing the same thing, HE WAS ELATED!!!!! he thought he was really cool and it was so fun to watch! he just wants to be one of the big kids!

SOOO, since the splash pad that day was a BUST we decided to try it again a few days later. it was the day before school started and it was EMPTY! it was HEAVEN!!!!!!!!! ej played more then she has EVER played probably combined! rowen was content crawling around and loved playing in all the water. WINNING!

 it just blows me away how fast she is growing.... and look how long her hair is getting!!!

while sitting there with the sun on us, playing in the water, i decided i NEVER want summer to end!! it is just so nice to be outside and see life out and about. winter is just too long! wish there were a way to adjust that.
