The first part of February we were surprised by a quick visit from Aunt Jani and Grandpa Wanner. We were able to host them at our house for a night before traveling to Idaho to meet up with Aunt Leslie and Aunt Heidi {all of Suzy's sisters}. They all decided to come into town (along with Heidi's two daughters Tiffany and Sarah) for Becca's 30th birthday. It was SO MUCH fun. We stayed up MUCH too late and slept waaay too little- but it was GREAT! We hadn't seen Jani since we moved from Cleveland!! AND we sure do miss her! Great Grandpa Wanner and all the "Aunt Grammies" got to meet Rowen for the first time.

Becca's b0day bash was a mustache theme- Rowen had fun with them....
.... but REALLY he just wanted to eat it!

often, i found ej and grandpa wanner snuggling or carrying on a conversation. Ej and Grandpa Jim have always had a special connection..... I hope she has great memories of him! This particular trip ej found some marbles and Grandpa told her all about playing marbles as a young boy.... he explained everything about the game and they even played a few games together. She walked around talking about Grandpa Wanner's 'Shooter' marble.
We drove home on Sunday. Monday Grandpa Wanner and Jani joined us for another night then headed for the airport tuesday morning. We are so thankful for their visit.
