Easter baskets

The kids had fun looking for their baskets... and while they didn't have to look too hard it was fun to see them get a kick out of the baskets in funny places. EJ did have to look a little harder for her second/sand toy basket....she kept calling it her "tricky basket"...

barely peeking out of the bottom of the curtains....

she was SOOO EXCITED when she found the "tricky basket"....

Easter was so great and we had THE BEST Sunday school lesson I've ever had! It was amazing. It was taught by a ward member who is a BYU professor. He is involved with the Archaeology department and spends 6 weeks every summer in Jerusalem doing different digs. It was so neat to have a lesson of the final week of Christ's life and The Resurrection from a different vantage point. It was such a more personal, historical swing on things. I had a friend mention that they have their Easter baskets done on Saturday so they can focus on the REAL MEANING of Easter on Easter Sunday. I really liked that idea!
