aaaand the rest of April....

 i feel like most of my posts are trying to catch up and have a similar title of "the rest of ______". But, i guess the good news is i am eventually getting around to blogging the rest of "it" :)

The beginning of April Rowen had his 18 months check up.... where we found out that he {and ej} had strep. awesome. we had just gotten back from california. even more awesome. i think only bode actually picked up the bug. awesome.
I feel like he had grown SO MUCH from his year appointment so i was excited to see his percentages. Well, he has been busy! He went from the 12th percentile in height to the 50th, from the 25th in weight to the 50th, and his head is still around 90th percentile. I sure do love this bobble headed mini-man of mine. He has become SUCH a little boy- it blows me away. he is obsessed with all things boy- cars, trains, dirt!

he is a naughty boy for sure! i found this drawing on our tile in the entryway. awesome. BUT of all places to color- i TOTALLY approve this. easy, easy clean up! could be much worse {knock on wood}

 I love getting pictures of these two together. They crack me up. ej is obsessed with this dress.... she calls it her party dress and wants to wear it everyday..... and to contrast that with all the clothes i buy her that she wants nothing to do with, i'll gladly take this :)  the only problem i have with it is she looks SO GROWN UP in it!

 this was ej making her own bed..... for a 4 year old i think she did rather well!

 

 .... and i do appreciate just how much fun a box can be to him! he loves sitting in them and climbing in and out....

 he is always trying new things and just wants to get his hands on everything!

this picture i took because it shows the relationship that cade and ej have. if they sitting in the same room they practically sitting on top of eachother. they have such a close relationship.

 cade and ej doing some spring cleaning. this water toy was left out all winter and was pretty dirty so i filled a bucket with soapy water and they went to work cleaning it up.

 I love watching the little moments of giggling that ej & rowen have together... this particular day it was over shoes. they love to make each other laugh.

and three years in the making.... i just love this picture of the robin eggs lips on emersyn and i. i  remember texting the picture to family from cleveland the first year and each year has been fun to see the faces that she comes up with. She is currently on fast forward mode and i feel like growing up WAY TOO FAST for my liking.
