november

November passed with lightening speed. We had a lot of events take place that helped things cruise by. Nate had a trip to Belgium that was the week before Thanksgiving and it was an absolute whirlwind. We did have INCREDIBLE weather. On Thanksgiving we sent the kids outside to play and it was awesome!

 this was Sunday family dinner of November- SEE those shorts and t-shirts!!!

 I happened to pass by  ej's room one day and found this note on her door. I asked her what she meant by the note and it was EXACTLY as i thought- NO BOYS ALLOWED. "But not all boys Mom. Just little ones"! AKA- ROWEN!!!

 The day after Halloween we met Kailey, McCoy and Paisley at the zoo. We wanted to go before it got too cold... little did we know how warm November would be! It was a lot of fun and SUPER NOT BUSY at all.

 There were peacocks running around and they would run into the thick of the bushes to get away. Ej and McCoy discovered that Rowen didn't mind chasing them out and sent him in over and over to chase out the birds. CRAZY BOY!

 these 2 got a stomach bug and had a some pukes.... i just love checking in on them at night.... i seriously cannot believe how much stuff Emersyn sleeps with!

 we got htis mirror finished! Nate had the glass replaced for our anniversary {TOTALLY SURPRISED ME}and then i repainted it! I LOVE IT!

 We took the kids to Krispee Kreme of some dessert- they totally dug watching the doughnuts being made! 

 Then Nate was off to Europe. These were some of the pictures we sent him while he was away!

 AAAND what was playing on our TV in Novemeber you ask :)?

ej became obsessed with Batman. she thinks he is "Handsome, Tough, Brave, and he is just really cool. Without him the bad guys will kill the whole wide earth". 

 And our new favorite youTube is "What does the fox say". My kids can sing it with all the crazy sounds. They want to show it to EVERYBODY who comes over!

Thanksgiving:

This year Thanksgiving was at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson. It was a lot of fun. With the great weather we sent the kids outside and the guys hung out outside while they deep fried the turkey. We had some EXTRA, EXTRA YUMMY foods. Seriously, it was just a little bit insane how many yummy things we bought & made! Lindsie was having some serious contractions and wasn't feeling well the day before T-day. They had slept in Riverton just incase anything happened. Thanksgiving Day she felt like she was progressing so she and Trent headed to the hospital for a few hours but no baby Wyatt.

ej LOVES to help me make food the night before. probably because of tasting!

 Grandma did Sparkling Cider with {plastic} flutes and the kids went NUTS! they ALL loved it!

Then we did some fun cookie-decorating and crafts. 

 that evening Rowen cuddled up to Boss :)

 We ended up staying up at Grandma and Grandpa's so late we ended up sleeping there. Black friday morning nate and i went out at 9 for a couple hours.

when we got home my favorite past time show was on... and ej loved it too!

and it kinda melted my heart ;)

and speaking of melting my heart....

we were playing hide-n-seek. Rowen and i were hiding and ej came to find us. She busted around the corner wearing these goggles.... "to help her find us". I just about died laughing! Rowen then wanted to wear them too! these two crack me up!
