We all stayed healthy for Christmas but by the time New Years rolled around the kidlets were a little sick... we took ej in and she had the beginning stages of Croup :( they gave ej a medicine in the office. But with being sick we didn't want to be around anybody- especially our cousins with a brand new baby! We decided to take the kids to dinner and ate at Texas Roadhouse, made a fun shopping stop at Target, grabbed a few fireworks, and headed home. We did some sparklers and watched Despicable Me 2.

Rowen didn't love the sparklers, i was a little surprised. But he found the shovel and went to work on the snow :)
NOISE MAKERS!
The kids stayed up until 9.... i feel like we should have kept ej up until 10pm to at least see the ball drop East-coast time BUT she was exhausted, especially being sick!
