october is over.....

i am a little sad about this. i love october and october 2009 is officially over:( it was a super busy month and i expected that it would go fast but it is a little sad. the trees are almost done being on fire and the squirrels are getting more and more fat..... which means one thing- WiNtEr! i am definitely not ready for another long, gray cleveland winter but not much i can do about that. at least this year my belly is not growing exponentially with the squirrels :)
ej and i were home for just over two weeks and had a blast. we had a halloween party for the johnson grandkids at my mom's house where we played some fun games and ate LOADS and LOADS of sugar.
last night ej went trick-or-treating at great-aunt jani's house and then we had friends over for chili, cornbread, cider, and carmel apples.... and a scary movie. we, actually they, watched Paranormal. there is NO WAY i could watch a movie like that and expect to ever get any sleep. my mind wouldn't have stopped for weeks. i am actual a little sad that we only have one more fall in cleveland, they are so AMAZING!
