she WALKS~ well, kinda

can you believe this! she is growing up SO fast..... and hit her 10 month mark! I HAVE A TEN MONTH OLD BABY! she is such a crack-up and smiles pretty much the entire day. she continues to make a scene at the grocery with eVeRyOnE wanting to see her and playing with her. she TOTALLY works it to! she smiles and plays and everyone dies over her. everyone recognizes her by her bows. i was standing inline at target the other day when the day in front of me, who i have no idea who she is, says "is that miss emersyn". i would have loved to have seen the look on my face. apparently she is a friend of nate's aunt jani who lives here and while Jani was babysitting- she took ej over to see her. she also had seen a few pics of ej- jani is a proud great aunt- or aunt grammy is what we call her:) ej gets even more smiles with her current 'tooth' situation. her top teeth are coming in- all four. except the top left middle tooth hasn't broken through so there is some 'jack-o-lantern' effect going on- hilarious!
notice how nate hardly makes ANY NOISES while she is walking or after. the first time she took any steps we were both so excited and really shocked. Nate let out this HUGE "WAHOO" and scared her to death! she got scared, fell over, and was crying. not just a whiney cry but a devastated, very upset cry. she wouldn't look at nate or go to him all night. when he tried to feed her later that evening she wouldn't eat from him. it was hilarious but really made him feel bad he startled her so much. so needless to say, he is very cautious in his cheering as she is walking :)
