this year we went to a ward trunk-or-treat on saturday. this was the first nate and i had been to and boy were we shown up! these trunks were decorated very creepy and fun! nate was taking notes for next year! emersyn had a lot of fun. the weather was pretty nice- 56 and clear, a little chill in the air but not too bad. nate took her around to all the cars. the first two stops she didn't really understand what was going on. by about the third car she realized if said trick-or-treat she got to pick something out of the bowl. she LOVED it. her little "trick-or-treat" is super cute. in fact, all day today when she wanted or needed anything, i made her say "trick or treat". shoes on= "trick or treat", sippy cup= trick-or-treat. it is just too cute NOT to make sure say it at any chance possible! i am sure we will continue saying "trick-or-treat" for awhile around our house.
