simply white

lately i have been seeing LOTS of color.

....the mustard seed yellow table....

....these turquoise chairs....

....but today, it is simply white....

....and there is something so refreshing and just plain clean about the color white. don't get me wrong i am ALL ABOUT COLOR { have you seen my table}. but today, white feels so refreshing. just a deep breath amongst all the craziness.

Shower for Sarah~

my good friend Sarah is having her 4th baby {3rd boy} so we threw her a surprise luncheon/baby shower. plus, we love getting together and letting the kiddos all play. i figured she probably had most of the necessities for the babe so we all pitched in and got her an hour massage at one of the nice salons here. i think she will be in heaven when she redeems it :)

did i mention she was in labor at the shower?!? she came having had contractions that morning. as the shower got going we all noticed her short of breath and starting timing her contractions.... they were a mere 2-5 mins apart and lasting for quite awhile. we finally convinced her to call the dr who proceeded to tell her to go to labor and delivery. Henry Schueller was born around 4pm that day.
