A Day of Firsts.... let's try this again.

Yesterday {01/19} was a big day of FIRSTS for ej. she went to her FIRST dance class that morning. she did alright. she is the youngest in there but did pretty well. they danced with ribbons, jumped to hula hoops that were placed on the ground, and then they pulled out the mats for somersaults. i don't think ej had ever done one before. she really liked it. in fact, for the remainder of the class she had her hands on the ground, butt up in the sir and one leg lifted trying to do a somersault. it was pretty cute!

she loved the somersaults. during the rest of the time she was attempting to do another somersault. she'd put her hands on the floor, butt in the air, and try and lift one leg over the head. it looked a lot like some pilates move :)

i think she really enjoyed getting out and interacting with other kids and with an adult besides mom or dad.

the afternoon meant business for her FIRST day of potty training! {couch=1 potty=3}

we just have her running around naked. as we were getting a few things ready for dinner i saw her stop, eyes get big, and then she ran over to he potty. i thought it was too good to be true~ but sure enough, she went potty!!! after our mini party we had dinner. fingers crossed....
