ej has been GREAT with this potting training thing. honestly, by day two she had NO ACCIDENTS! we went for the total naked approach and she's been great. she had a little bit of a hard time transitioning to clothes again. when we introduced panties she HATED them.
she's had a couple accidents with panties on but she really caught on really quick.
she loves her minnie mouse and daisy duck panties and loves to put them on. she is still sleeping in diapers but sometimes she'll wake up from her naps dry. we drove 2 1/2 hours to Columbus on saturday. i didn't have my hopes up too high but she showed us! she made it DRY the entire day {in a diaper..... see i didn't trust her} but she made it there and back DRY. we did stop for potty breaks. i tried having her potty in the back of our car but she wasn't too sure about that.
i secretly loved having her 'nekkid' bum in sight all day. the second week we went to panties with no pants... and her little bum was STILL pretty adorable. i love to pinch it! we've moved to being fully clothed and she is a pro at running to the potty and undressing her bottom half. as i watch her do that, i just think in my mind how she should NOT be old enough to do that!
