in week 38

it is definitely the final countdown. TEN more sleeps until this little man makes his {scheduled} debut! we are getting pretty excited but the realization is starting to set in!  i am trying to get the last minute things done and ANY OTHER project that i would like done in the next few months. i have a sneaky feeling with two kiddos the projects won't be getting checked off the "TO DO" list. i have gotten to the point that any time i go ANYWHERE people stop me and comment on my belly. that, or i get the look that i give a lot to women this far along that says "oh you poor thing".
He is out of room and it is crazy to watch my belly move and shake. as uncomfortable as i am, i am trying to soak in 'being pregnant'. i remember missing being pregnant after i had emersyn {which is a little hard to imagine at this point :) }so i am really, really, trying to keep the complaining down.... Nate might state otherwise thought :). i am so excited for this little man. we had an ultrasound ast week at my appointment and he just looked SO cute. the ultrasounds are so much more adorable, and less alien looking, this late in pregnancy. we saw his little cheeks and his nose looks just like ej's. we saw his fingers and legs and {thankfully}little boy parts {still}. i just can't wait to snuggle him and smell him. babes just smell so yummy. i think he is going to be a handful.... he already has been :) i have been to labor and delivery THREE times with him. with emersyn i didn't really even know where it was until i walked in to have her :) at least i know exactly where to go this time and so far ALL of the nurses i've seen have been great!
my appt yesterday was pretty uneventful. my doctor is now out of town until Monday the 3rd. SO next time i see him will be at the induction.... unless he comes before that. i will go see his nurse next week to check my vitals and make sure pre-clampsia hasn't set in.
i am getting pretty excited to deliver here, close to home. like 4 mins from  home :) i am SO in love with the Riverton Hospital and beyond excited to deliver there.
