8-10 weeks

this picture was taken when he turned 8 weeks old! i love his perfectly round, freshly filled belly :) 

 at rowen's 2 month check-up he was 23 inches and 12lbs 2 oz . he grew 5 inches in two months!!!!!! that is so crazy! i swear my babies grow faster then usual! he is such a HAPPY, HAPPY baby. if he is awake he is most likely smiling and cooing. he loves 'talking' with us and smiling. i absolutely love this form of communication that is developed. i love that interaction and recognition from him. rowen already LOVES to watch emersyn. my favorite is when she makes a loud noise {which is VERY COMMON}his eyes get the size of golf balls and it scares him. before too long he will be use to her screaming, i am sure. emersyn loves to sing to him. she likes to makes sure he has his cozy. he really does like his cozy and will just bury his face in it.
at about 8 weeks he started doing a 4-5 hour stretch of sleeping at night. now, at 10 weeks he has started going to bed at 10pm for the night and getting up at 5:30. it is SO great to finally have some longer stretches of sleep. i have NEVER been so tired in my life, and that is an understatement. he eats at 5:30am then goes back to bed until about 9am.... at 9 i will hear some talking  and cooing and when i walk into the room i see this sweet face.......

he is so perfect!
