.....and in to March!

As Nate and I drive home from Las Vegas we both wanted to do a happy dance that it was the first of March! February is SUCH A CRUMMY month that there is always a sense of accomplishment when that month is OVER each year!

THe kids were being totally awesome one day and ej did tons of homework and music homework without ANY tears {which is HUGE} so we celebrated by going to the Donut Truck in Springville.

then we took the yummy-ness home to enjoy on our deck. the donuts were AWESOME! Rowen put an entire donut in his mouth in ONE BITE!

ej also learned the art of putting post-its on someone's {Rowen's} back! She thought it was pretty great!

We really had some GREAT weather this March! We went for lots of walks and bike rides through our neighborhood on our trail! We love where we live!

I had 2 different conventions this month! for the first one Suzy was AWESOME enough to come stay at the house with the kiddos! As I was driving to downtown SLC on Thursday, right about the point of the mountain are car hit a milestone!!! 100,000 MILES! we bought our car about 7 1/2 years ago with about 10,000 miles on it. It really has been an awesome car. As I sat in traffic {YUCK, UGHHH} I thought about everywhere our car has been! It took us back and forth to Cleveland TWICE. It has been coast-to-coast from California - to Washington DC. It has been as far North as Canada and as far south as Phoenix, AZ. I brought BOTH my newborn babies home from the hospital. It was our first purchase together as a married couple. It brought us from our first year of marriage to our first home! Who knew you could be so sentimental about a CAR!!!

i *finally* painted ej's room. she has wanted to paint her room ever since we moved in! We did metallic gold, emerald, and amethyst polka dots! It is adorable!
