Fourth of july in riverton

this year we were in Riverton for the 4th of July. It was a lot of fun. we haven't been to Riverton Town days since nate and i were married. They had the parade on evening of the 3rd....

it was SOOOO HOT but luckily we had shade!

 that evening we had BIG sleepover outside in grandma and grandpa's backyard. it made for a late night and some cranky kids the next day but they had a BLAST!

then on the 4th we went and had breakfast inthe park {grandma and grandpa helped serve the food} followed by the carnival. everyone had to take off before the carnival so ej and rowen had grandma and grandpa all to themselves ;) fun day!

 {on the third a huge fire broke out ion Alpine... you can see the smoke}

grandpa had his first Funnel cake EVER at the carnival {how is that even possible?!} it is fried pancake batter with whipped topping and strawberries- RIGHT UP HIS ALLEY!
