8 months {june 'ish of Rowen}

this summer is absolutely flying by and i feel like we haven't done much of ANYTHING!!!! it has been a summer filled with record heat and record working for me :) i have worked more then i ever have while being a full time momma.... and i am not a good balancer so when i work a lot not much else happens.  this little rowen boy is growing so fast and is a complete crack up! he is a pretty happy boy and still loves to snuggle before bed/naps. i creep into his room to check on him before i go to bed and it just melts my heart. i always take pictures because i just want to remember it!

 this is when he fist started rolling over to his tummy but couldn't get back to his back. 

 he loves making us smile.

 and he loves to feed himself.

the later part of june he started actually rolling over/around. he had rolled over maybe like 2 times previously but he just didn't move around a lot.... well in about a 2 week period EVERYTHING changed. he started rolling and less then a week later he was doing the hands/knees/awkward-crawl-but-more-of-a-scoot ALL around the family room.

  about a little over a week later he had mastered the art of crawling! it is crazy to have him following us around and his poor knees are just SO they are almost purple... the calluses are forming and i DID get a little teary eyed as i felt his knees. they use to be so soft and so baby-like, these virgin knees.... now they are tough and rugged and just TODDLER KNEES!
