lagoon

the first weekend in June we went to Lagoon with The Johnson Family... Trent/Lindsie/ & boys were at Moon Lake so we didn't get to party with them {next year} but we had lots of fun with the cousins. i think i especially loved it because i remember going with my grandma and grandpa johnson before they passed away. they LOVED taking us and i remember them laughing and pulling us around in the wagons. my grandpa would save to take all the grandkids every summer. i wish we had digital photography growing up.... i would give anything to see more pictures of me and my family with them. my dad was able to go on some of the roller coasters and thoroughly enjoyed it. grandma brought lots of yummy snacks and helped with kiddos so some of the parents could go on a couple rides.

 this was the weekend of Rowen's ENORMOUS ear infection and he was SOOO sick. But he was a champ. i really debated if we should go or not but i think it was good for him to get out... there were LOTS of people to help hold him too, which was great for mom!

my mom is terrified of heights! but she was very brave and went on the ferris wheel. she definitely had second thoughts and i don't think she'll go next year. it was so super windy up there, i have to say i DID NOT enjoy it either...... seeing ej up that high made me queasy and scared.

we had great weather.... pretty cool and not blazing hot and ej did great without taking a nap. can't wait for next year.....
