rough winter

this winter has been a ROUGH one in our house as far as being sick goes! my kids have been sick more then healthy! poor rowen has this horrible schedule! he will get a cough, be congested for a good 10 days, and then the symptoms will lighten up. he will have about 4 days of health before the next round of symptoms start creeping up. i HONESTLY do NOT know what to do! and there is NOTHING i can give him so it is just weeks of bulbing snot out of his nose and keeping the humidifier running with oils! i hate it. i think before this winter, i could count on one hand just how many times emersyn had been sick. THIS year is a different story. i don't know if it is because we are living in a basement or WHAT! i feel bad them. nate and i both have had a lot of colds! 

 this particular day you could tell he just felt so yucky! poor guy!

sidenote: the last month he has been going NUTS with his fingers. he LOVES to suck them. sometimes it is his whole fist he is trying to get in his mouth but usually it is either these two fingers {above} or his thumb.
