i ABSOLUTELY love the first few warm days of Spring. last saturday (march 10) was absolutely beautiful and SO WARM! nate cleaned both cars during the kiddos naps and when they were awake we went for a bike ride. emersyn made sure to help nate get the bikes ready to go. nate bought us bike for valentine's day. emersyn went to pick them up with nate and he tried to explain to her that it was a secret and not to tell mom. when they got home it was bedtime so nate put her to bed thinking that she wouldn't remember to tell me in the morning. NOT SO :) first thing she said when she woke up that morning "mom, we got you a surprise...it's a BIKE! wanna come see?" as soon as she started talking nate was trying to stop her but it wasn't happening, she was too excited. it was pretty funny! so we pulled the bikes and trailer out and rode to the park to play. emersyn and rowen were both in heaven during the entire ride. it was pretty fun! even though the surprise of the bikes was ruined, they were still a great gift!
