this was emersyn the day she got her bike! she was pretty excited to say the least! it has taken a little while to learn to pedal {thanks to being the oldest and the child of poor grad students, she had actually never had
anything that required pedaling}.
rowen got a new helmet for our bike rides.
...and the inevitable...
...... her first crash on her bike :).....
notice, this was at 7 AM the morning after she got her bike! ready to get after it!
she has gotten to be pro at the while bike thing. we bought her a pretty big bike and she is handling it well. each riding session ends in tears.... either because she doesn't want to get off it and come in or because she fell off/ got frustrated with it! we are working with learning to deal with our emotions!
monday after we moved in Annette, molly, and camden came for a visit..... i might have almost started a fire in my new {beautiful} ovens but it all ended well. now i know NOT to put pizzas on the bottom rack.
