On June 8 we got up SUPER EARLY to head to the Art City Hot Air Balloon Festival. as we slipped into bed the night before i was really questioning what we were doing waking our kids up @ 5:45!?!? but we were VERY glad we did. we ended being some of the first people there and it was great! warm donuts, orange juice and we got tickets to go for a hot air balloon ride. it wasn't a smooth morning by ANY MEANS! i forgot the camera so nate dropped ej & i off then headed back home, it was FREEZING and we didn't have warm clothes, Rowen PUKED EVERYWHERE- i mean SATURATED every dry thing that were trying to keep him warm with, it was ADVENTUROUS to say the least. BUT it was fun. once the sun came up and they started taking off it was a lot of fun! as each balloon took off they threw candy and balls with # attached to them. then there was a whole stash of prizes associated with the #s. it was something total different then we had ever done. i love our cute little town of Springville. we were in line for our ride but they were having some problems and it was taking FOREVER {nate needed to get to work} so we bailed! we most definitely will be back next year!
