Merry Christmas

....and so we last left you on Christmas Eve night! I have been trying to play catch up from this whole holiday season of the sick-and-afflicted so the blogging is lacking!

Christmas morning we found:

 cookies = gone. carrot = mostly eaten

chocolate milk = gone. water for rudolph = mostly gone but his nose had changed the water red!!!1

 we had to wake this sleeping beauty up! Rowen hadn't woken up before noon for the previous few days but somehow he knew there were presents and he was up at 8am

 waiting to come out.... rowen wasn't following the rules- SHOCKER ;)

 hmmmm, maybe we should let her have more sugar ;)

this little man found this and was in heaven!

 Rowen opened the rest of his presents on the bike :)

grammy and gramp nailed it with the presents! the kiddos LOVED their gifts!

after opening presents we got ready, got on the phone to Sister Mollie Lloyd, and drove to Grandma and Grandpa Johnsons. Rowen mostly slept {from like 11 until 4pm} missing most the festivities.

we had SUCH a fun time! as siblings we usually draw names and do presents that way. this year we decided to do presents white elephant style. BUT the catch was it had to be something purchased from an island while we were on our cruise! IT.WAS.A.BLAST. seriously. one of the funnest parts of Christmas. we were all laughing hysterically. i feel like we should go on a cruise every year before Christmas JUST so we can do this gift exchange!

 ....and BARBIES GALORE!

 ....and as per tradition, a nice rest on grandma and grandpa's bed while watching a movie;)

christmas break started out rough.....

..... but we sure did have a GREAT CHRISTMAS DAY!!!

Seriously, it was one of THE BEST! after Christmas it was then MY turn to get sick followed by nate then ej hit round two! i was "lucky" enough to get sick right as Rowen felt better and was back to 100% energy! EXHAUSTING.
