with all the kiddos sick we figured misery loves company so we went to Trent and Lindsie's and celebrated with the Weights too. we played a super fun Disney game called headbanz and had fireworks. it was bitter cold so we didn't last too long. it was negative SOMETHING- i don't remember the exact number. i guess i tried to forget how cold it was!
...and we TOTALLY duped the kids...they watched the ball drop live in NEW YORK so at 10pm they thought they'd made it to midnight and we went home. (Dallin was nice enough to NOT spoil it. man, since when can he tell time? isn't he like 2 years-old!?!)
New Year's Day we tried sledding behind the four-wheeler. It was just too cold (like single digit with negative wind chill). plus ej took a turn for the worse and the next day we were back at the doctor's office with a 105 temperature.
