Chaeco

SOOO, after we lost Diesel, Nate began the hunt for a dog. Which is saying A LOT because nate WASN'T a dog person. But he really noticed the impact Diesel had on the kids and the lessons learned by having a dog. So he "SURPRISED" ALL of us and brought home a cock-a-poo. He really was a great dog! We had SO MUCH fun with him BUT he had been abused and the second week of having him he started this submission-pee. He peed ALL THE TIME, EVERYWHERE. we couldn't get it under control so we had to give him away. We gave him to a cute family and the mom truly enjoys training dogs and wasn't worried about getting the peeing under control. In the meantime, they had a big backyard they could keep him in until it was fixed.

 but ej was in heaven...

 ...and Chaeco was in heaven too...

 .....Rowen often thought he was a dog as well....

 these next few pictures were after ej got home from Cleveland. Cheaco wouldn't leave her side. I love her walking in heels with her purse and her dog!

 THEN came the time we had to tell her Chaeco had to go to a different house. AGAIN, it was so hard to know what to say. We had to think things through so she didn't react the wrong way. She was crushed! So as she was crying as the Chaeco's new family drove off with him, i started promising her the world to try and get her to feel better... so we ended up with a fish....

EJ got a stuffed animal dog anf named him Chaeco and he snuggles her lots!
