RIP Diesel

 This one time I had this *most* annoying dog. I bought him 9 years ago while I was single & in hygiene school. He was my buddy. He became my parent's dog but Emersyn LOVED HIM as her own. Today (06/17/13) he passed away. Never thought of miss that little punk!

teaching your child life lessons stinks! Emersyn heart was broken and it was really hard trying to find a way to explain that Diesel wasn't coming back. I, honestly, still can't believe it. I miss that little stink. I think the hard part was that he was totally fine one day and gone the next. It is hard to think that he died over a mistake by a "New" employee at the vet's office. My mom called to make an appointment because he had gotten into the garbage sack and ate himself sick! She assured my mom that as long as a list of things we happening, he was fine. He met that list and so she didn't take him in. A week later he was in bad shape. My mom called the vet and explain what was happening and they said he probably had internal bleeding and asked why she didn't bring him in {!?!?!. They rushed Diesel in. He had a perforation in his intestine and was so full of poison that he probably wouldn't have made it through the night {or surgery}so my dad had THE HORRIBLE job of saying the words to get him out of pain. 

We love you Diesel and we SOOOOO MISS you!
