ej's trip to the C-L-E

Emersyn was lucky enough to get to go to River and Celina's wedding in Cleveland. They asked her last fall to be the flower girl and she has been pretty excited EVER since. They gave her a really cute book about being a flower girl and we had read it NUMEROUS times. EJ referred to the wedding as "HER WEDDING". She was obsessed with everything wedding!!! We tried our hardest to get there but when tickets got to be about $700 per person we had to decline. EJ had a blast and still talks about it!

she flew out on the same flight as kate, suzy, mollie, and abbee. it was a pretty YUCKY flight they had  (time/layovers) and it ended up being EVEN worse when it got delayed. They didn't get into Cleveland until well after 1 am!!

Emersyn hadn't seen River and Celina (and most of our Cleveland family- minus Jani) since we moved May 2011!! Once again, I was so beyond jealous that she was able to go and see some of MY most favorite people!!!

 They had a 4th of July BBQ and lots of hang out time. Then Saturday the 6th was the wedding! Everybody told me she did a great job but SOMEHOW nobody got a picture of her walking down as the flower girl!?! I was really sad about not being able to be there to see her, but to miss it completely is really hard! I bet she looked SO CUTE!

 

And they even took ej to see her house "that she was a baby in" {is what ej told me ;) }

Then Tuesday Kate and ej flew home... again, another bad flight. ej and i made home and in bed at about 2am this time!

 While Miss EJ was gone i redid he room. She LOVED it and told me thank  you for her princess bed ;)

...and after going to bed less than 5 hours earlier, wednesday morning i found myself snuggling this sweet face. BEST MOMENT. 

She was a total belle-of-the-ball the entire time she was in Cleveland. She came home with more toys and goodies then i could count! She loved seeing grandpa wanner and said her favorite part of the wedding was when River and Celina smashed cake in their faces :) It was bee so fun hearing her talk about the trip and tell little stories in her own words.
