Emersyn came home from Colbie's house totally upset that Colbie got to do chores and she didn't! So, after asking ej what chores Colbie did we promptly got ej scrubbing toilets and she LOVED IT!
I have to say that she did really well with it. We made her a chart of things to do with some boxes to check off as she goes. She was excited to earn her prize she chose- A SPIN TOOTHBRUSH!
Early April brought the arrival of Miss Holland Alivia Ames. Kailey had decided not to be induced and i was still trying to be there for baby girls' birth. Naturally we should have KNOWN that Miss Holland would choose to come on the ONE DAY OF THE WEEK THAT I WORK! Kailey had a Dr appt on tuesday {April 1} and her doctor said he could induce her the following day. Kailey said no because she knew i would kill her that i worked. After the appointment she called to see if I could swap days. So, i tried to get the day covered with NO LUCK :(. Kailey decided to wait. That evening she called to say she thought she was in labor. i figured i'd go to bed, sleep for a few hours, then pull an all nighter busting up there for the birth and back down for work. WELL, i went to bed waiting for the phone call as she progressed but kailey really didn't progress through the night. I headed to work thinking i might make it if she kept going slowly as my patients ended around 3. As soon as i got to work she started progressing (sidenote- kailey had been laboring all night in her back due to Holland being posterior. After the fact the nurse let her know she called the Doctor in the night and told him that and he never came). The minute he came and helped Kailey, she started progressing. THEN MIRACLE HAPPENED- I had 3, YES THREE, patients right before my lunch call and cancel their appointments. I hurried and did my part for my 9:45am patient and was on the road by 10:03. I FLEW. I told mom and dad but not kailey..... she hit a ten and i made to the 3300 south exit in Salt Lake when miss Holland was born :( that little stinker couldn't wait. I felt pretty grateful to get there by about 10:45. 40 mins from Orem to Bountiful! I got to spend a couple hours there and then headed back to finish my day at work. After work, i abandoned my cute little family and drive straight back to Bountiful and spent the evening there until about 11pm. It was so fun! i Loved being there with them!
...this boy loves to help with bringing groceries in from the car after trips to Costco...
....We LOVE having Miss Andi over for sleepovers....
.... this pretty much sums up almost every morning-cartoon session....cuddled on the couches in their Christmas blankets...
...ej had ANOTHER cavity appointment at Dr White's....
...she was a stinker and made Dr White work his butt off trying to get her work done! I am pretty sure he could have used a nap like this after her appointment...

..i just love watching these little humans of mine, just doing their everyday things..
..... and for a family with no pets {besides Goldie the fish}, we sure have a lot of puppies around our house....
You KNOW it is going to be a happy day when you eggs look like this!
....AND bike riding season officially started!
love it when we get to babysit this sweetheart! That Wyatt is such the bestest baby!
I had to start not-allowing ej to nap everyday because bedtime was getting later and later. She ended up napping about 3 times a week. "mom, can i PLEASE nap today?"
While Rowen would nap we had a chance to play games without a little nugget trying to break everything. It was a really great time for just ej and i!
.... MAJOR milestone.... climbing the rockwall at Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's. WaHoO!
These two are beyond crazy! I sure do love them!
