Summer lovin'

 This year we had a full house for the hot air balloon festival. It was the first year that Trent and Lindsie were in town for it. Kailey and Shawn came down for it too! The plan was for Nate and Shawn to sleep out in a tent with the kids but there ended up being some rain and lightening so we put the tent up in the basement. We didn't think about the weather constricting our plans for the next morning.
Bright and early, trent and i went to the park and got tickets to ride in the hot air balloon. Nate took the kids and went through McDonald's drive thru and bought a bunch of breakfast items. Then everyone met up at the park. They had warm donuts and juice again. We were like 3rd in line for the rides.
Then the announcement came that they didn't know if the balloons were going to be able to launch due to atmospheric pressure. we were bummed!!!!!

 But enjoyed the face painting , balloon, and carnival type stuff, They announced that the balloons would launch but no rides would happen. At least we got to see the hot air balloons go up!

Riverton Rodeo:

we took Colbie with us to the Riverton Rodeo and they had a blast!

 being silly. they LOVED being right at the front of the action.

 We had a fun time at the rodeo. We didn't know how long the kids would last. They lasted in their seats about an hour and got restless. So they headed down to the rails and we ended up staying another hour and a half. We didn't Colbie home until about 10pm..... a little late for a 5 year old! The girls had a blast though!
