idaho or bust

So we hopped in our cars {nate=murano, paige +kids=accord, Grandpa + Grandma= their truck} and headed north. The cars we all packed to 100% capacity!
 We stopped in Malad, Idaho to eat dinner at a yummy bbq place. We were about 30 minutes ahead of grandpa and grandma so we found a park to play at.

 we ate and then continued up to grammy & gramps house. Grammy was in Michigan with Grandpa Wanner and Gramp was working in North Dakota so we sent them a couple pictures to let them know we has arrived!

 Sunday we worked like mad to get things {somewhat} put away and make sense of the disaster  stuff we had. We found *most* everything a home after getting somewhat creative.
Monday was Labor Day so we hit up the Eastern Idaho Fair with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson. The animals were probably the biggest hit. We had planned on eating there but by the time lunch hit there were HUNDREDS of people in-line for food. so we bailed and ate hamburgers at Aunt Teressa's house. Her house is about a block away from the fair grounds so we were also able to park there and walk to the fair.

 ej was very excited to see an animal named Rose. she was very excited to meet her teacher Mrs Rose in just a few days.

 Then on that Wednesday this cute girl had her FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN!!!!!!! It was pretty awesome. I got to go with her and we checked out her classroom, did an art project, did a scavenger hunt, and few other things. The scavenger hunt had important things like the bathroom, coat/backpack rack, drinking fountain, etc...
 {little boy blue wanted his picture.... can you blame him.... so here is Rowen on Ej's first day of school ;) }
 in line at school. We got stuck behind some farming equipment AND right as i got on the freeway, i remembered HER BACKPACK! amateur mom right here!

 walking out from her first day of school...

By the end of the week we had a pretty routine down. Some days after school we will run to Sams Club and get lunch there to eat on the way home to Menan. We usually always drive past the house !

and just like that we were living in Idaho, ej in Kindergarten, our house coming along, & the new chapter of our little family's adventure was well on it's way!
