late April into May

 We had really nice weather pretty early on this spring. We hit up the splash park as soon as it opened for the season and that lead into one of our GREATEST SWIMMING SUMMERS!!!!! We spent just about EVERYDAY swimming somewhere!!!! We had passes to Seven peaks and Cowabunga Bay and between those, the splash pad, and Grandpa and Grandma's pool these guys were little fishes!

this little man of mine.....

Rio Tinto had a fun day called Trucks on Parade out at grandpa Johnson's work. The kids were able sit in the trucks and play around on them. Rowen shockingly {haha, yeah right. NOT SHOCKINGLY} was on cloud nine running from truck to truck. Minus the fact he had to share with other kids! I told Rowe the other night i think hid brain IS the shape of a truck!

....annnd then came the last day of preschool!
{these 3 carpool buddies were sure excited for the bus next year}

Poor Lori was overdue with Baby Josie and dying. SO after school I took these two to get a treat to celebrate!

A few days after preschool ended the school had a little party. It was SO FUN. The kids loved it! The teachers had little gifts for them.

 GOOD BYE to Miss Mari and Miss Gaylene-

 these kiddos love watching videos with dad!
 THEN, my birthday and Mother's Day came....
i had been waiting for my birthday to buy a new necklace and i couldn't wait until to my birthday to go purchase it! I LOVE IT!

on my birthday ej came home with her Mother's Day poster about me..... she pretty much nailed it! girl knows her mom!
Rowen found this thing at the mall.

On Mother's Day 2014. The kids and Nate got me a zero gravity chair. AWESOME!

In May I also had a weird mole/not mole biopsied and it came back positive for squamos cell carcinoma {tanning bed cancer}. I had to go in and have a good chunk of skin dug out. They ended up going deeper then originally planned. They did 3 layers of stitched and for a spot that was less than half the size of my pinkie nail, i had an incision a few inches long. Thankfully, the sample layer of tissue the scrapped at the end of the procedure {right before the start sewing the hole up} came back clear so it worked. I can't believe how sore i was from it. The day i got home i felt okay but when i woke up the next day, i was dying. I was completely caught off guard at the amount of pain in had from a small area on my body!! It took about 2 months before I cold sleep on that side, it was hard to turn -like sitting in the front seat of the car and turning to reverse or check on kids- WAS KILLER!
 ready to go swimming- somewhere!
a little movie and snack on mom and dad's bed!
 Love this temple tucked in the mouth of the canyon this way!

ej made this cute banana-man one day! It cracks me up to be going about my normal routine and see something like this that one of the kiddos has made! It makes me smile!
